On 5 June, the seminar "People-centred businesses: Making Supply Chains work for Small Producers" will take place at the European Parliament. Organized by Cooperatives Europe and the Fair Trade Advocacy Office, the seminar will aim to create a much-needed space for discussion around the risks and opportunities of the private sector working in development. It will highlight the advantages for EU Institutions and other actors to partner with people-centred businesses, such as cooperatives.
On 26 June, Cooperatives Europe and Rescoop will organise ‘Big energy: small energy? The role of collaboration for EU’s energy transition’ high-level policy conference. This event will take place at the European Commission within the European Sustainable Energy week (EUSEW). The day before, on 25th June, the energy working group will meet in Brussels in order to present all their previous actions and to plan the next steps.
